Nell Johnson Priest

 Nell Johnson Priest, a longtime resident of Ozark, passed on Thursday, February 2, 2017 in Chipley, Florida at the age of 83.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, February 09, 2017 at First Missionary Baptist Church in Ozark. Burial will follow in Travelers Rest Cemetery with Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends from 5-7 on Wednesday at the Funeral Home.

Mrs. Priest was born June 27, 1933 to the late Semmie O. Johnson, Sr. and the late Asie V. McKinnon Johnson. She confessed Christ at an early age and joined the First Missionary Baptist Church.

She married Thomas Priest, Jr. on September 3, 1955 and to this union two children were born: a son, Anthony Bernard Priest (deceased) and a daughter, Denise Priest Overton of Ozark.
