Nellie Ruth Birge Cole of Dothan, Alabama met Jesus face to face on Sunday, June 28, 2015 surrounded by her family.

 

Funeral services will be held 11 A. M. Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at the Ward Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Travis Free officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.

 

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service Wednesday at Ward Wilson Funeral Home.

 

Mrs. Cole was born October 29, 1927. She lived her life in Dothan and the Taylor Community. Mrs. Cole loved her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and all her family with unconditional love.

 

She was preceded in death by her mother Nancy Jane Birge and father EM Birge, her husband, Mack Cole, several sisters and brothers.

 

She is survived by her son, Ronnie and Lynn Cole, her daughters, Nancy and Henry Littlefield, Lois and Marvin Milner, Sheila and John Lewis, sisters, Florine Curran, Geraldine Branton, Mary Evelyn Fuller, Carolyn Evans, Belinda Leatherwood, Louise Lane, brothers, Eugene Birge, Harold Birge, Lonnie Birge, and Walter Lee (buddy) Birge.

Mrs. Cole is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren who loved their Granny with all their hearts.

 

The family would like to thank Covenant Hospice and especially Carla, Tracy, Kim and Michelle for their loving care of our mother and family.
