OBITUARY FROM HOLMAN FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATIONS OF OZARK   ~   334‑774‑5348


Mr. Christopher Paul Turner, 51, of Dothan, originally of the Blue Springs Community in Barbour County, died Wednesday, September 2, 2015, in UAB Medical Center in Birmingham.


Funeral services will be 10:00 A. M. Saturday, September 5, 2015, in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home and Cremations in Ozark with Reverend Brian Presley and Reverend Freddie McCain officiating.  Interment will follow in Asbury Cemetery in Enterprise, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home in Ozark Friday from 5:00 P. M. until 7:00 P. M.


Mr. Turner was born July 17, 1964 in Ozark, Alabama to Martha Tyler Turner and the late Elwood Junior Turner.  He was a 1982 graduate of G. W. Long High School in Skipperville.  In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sue Grimes Turner.


Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Ali and Dustin Carpenter of Slocomb; two grandchildren, Austin Carpenter and Cami Carpenter; his Mother, Martha Tyler Turner; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Lana and Robert Rogers of Louisville, Lesli and Ted Vance of Louisville; one brother and sister-in-law, Benny and Susan Turner of Skipperville; five nieces and nephews, Kendra Rogers, Brittany Adams Munn, Tyler Turner, Pruett Littlefield, and Mindy Littlefield; great nieces and nephews, Bryson McCrea, Zack Rogers, Anna Rogers, and Braylee Munn.


In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 3054 McGehee Road, Montgomery, Alabama  36111.
