Obituary from Holman Funeral Home and Cremations – Ozark, AL

 

Mr. Donald B. Bailey, 65, of Alpharetta, GA, passed away following an extended illness on February 9, 2017.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm Sunday, February 19, 2017, at Roswell Funeral Home in Roswell, Georgia.  The family will receive friends at Roswell Funeral Home on Saturday, February 18, 2017 from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm. A graveside service for Mr. Bailey will be held in Westview Memorial Cemetery in Ozark at 10:30 am, Tuesday, February 21, 2017, Holman Funeral Home and Cremations of Ozark directing.

Don was born on August 31, 1951, in Chillicothe, MO. He graduated from Florida State University with a marketing degree. He worked for several years in Tallahassee prior to moving to Alpharetta, GA to start his own business as a storage planning consultant. Don was an active member of the Roswell Church of Christ. He enjoyed FSU football and loved fishing. 

Don was preceded in death by his father, Gerald N. Bailey.  He is survived by his wife, Peggy J. Bailey of Alpharetta, GA; his son, Blair J. Bailey of Auburn, AL;  his Mother, Faye S. Bailey of Griffin, GA; and two brothers, Richard C. Bailey of Scottsdale, AZ, and Roy Bailey of Dallas, GA.
