OBITUARY FROM HOLMAN FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATIONS OF OZARK   ~   334‑774‑5348

Mr. Douglas Edward Jacobs, 71, of Ariton died Friday evening November 14, 2015 in Montgomery.

 Funeral services will be 1:00 P. M. Monday, November 17, 2014 in the Holman Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Joe Underwood officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Olive Cemetery in the Rocky Head Community, Holman Funeral Home and Cremations of Ozark directing.

 The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home Chapel from 11:30 A.M. Monday until service time.

 Mr. Jacobs was a native of Ariton having graduated from Ariton High School and Massey Draughn Business College in Montgomery.  He entered the United States Air Force serving four years then working in accounting until his disability retirement in 1991.  He attended the Ariton United Methodist Church and the Bethel Assembly of God churches in Ariton.

 He is survived by one sister and brother-in-law:  Linda and Ralph Thrasher of Pell City, Al;  one brother, Dalton Jacobs of Montgomery.  Three nieces and two nephews also survive.
