On this day God has received a carpenter and an electrician; an avid hunter and fisherman.  He loved his family and worked hard all his life to care for the needs and the education of his children. He will be greatly missed by his family and the community.  He was preceded in death by his parents L. P. and Della Judah Carroll, brothers, Robert and Paul Carroll, and sister, Zina Stubbs.         Joe is survived by his wife of 65 years and the love of his life, Rachel Brogden Carroll.  What better gift can a father give to his children than to love their mother with his whole heart.      Joe was also survived by a daughter, Janet Keown (Gary) of Ozark, AL and a son, Joseph G.
