Obituary from Holman Funeral Home and Cremations – Ozark, AL


 


Mr. Kenneth Charles Juneau, Sr., 82, of Ozark, died Sunday, November 27, 2016, as a result of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident.


Funeral services for Mr. Juneau will be at 1:00 P. M. Friday, December 2, 2016, in Ozark Baptist Church with Reverend Al Sonanstine officiating. Interment will follow in Camp Ground Baptist Church Cemetery, Holman Funeral Home and Cremations of Ozark directing.  The family will receive friends at Ozark Baptist Church Thursday from 5:00 P. M. until 7:00 P. M.


Mr. Juneau was born August 20, 1934 in Marksville, Louisiana and grew up in Shreveport, Louisiana.  He served in the United States Army and worked with the United States Post Office for twenty years. He and his wife, Toni, owned and operated Family Traditions Deli and Gifts in Ozark.  Mr. Juneau was a member of The Lions Club in Dothan for many years, and helped organize the Senior Citizen Center in Ashford.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Edwin Juneau and Alice Mae LaBorde Juneau.


Survivors include three daughters and sons-in-law, Michele and Lee Wilson of McDonough, Georgia, Nicole and David Stahl of Meansville, Georgia, Vicki and Mark Dore of New Iberia, Louisiana; one son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth C. Jr. and Lori Juneau of Dothan; four sisters, Elaine Pritchard of Shreveport, Louisiana, Kathleen Guillot of Walker, Louisiana, Barbara Lacombe of Echo, Louisiana, Juanita Juneau of Terre Haute, Indiana; two brothers, Gerald Brovillette of Gloster, Louisiana and Frances Brouillette of Baton Rouge, Louisiana.  Eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren also survive.


In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Camp Ground Baptist Church, 3898 Andrews Avenue, Ozark, Alabama 36360.
