OBITUARY FROM HOLMAN FUNERAL HOME OF OZARK

­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­Mr. Stephen Ray Strength, age 53, died Sunday, October 6, 2013, at his home.  Funeral services will be 10:00 A. M. Wednesday, October 9, 2013, from Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with Reverend William Hart officiating. Interment will follow in Post Oak United Methodist Church Cemetery, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing.   The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 5:00 P. M. until 7:00 P. M.  Mr. Strength was born August 23, 1960 in Enterprise, Alabama.  He graduated from Enterprise High School and Troy University.  He enjoyed powerlifting and won numerous events. Mr. Strength was selected to be on the U. S. National Powerlifting Team.  He was a faithful member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father, Ray Franklin Strength.  Survivors include his wife, Liesl Parker Strength;  one daughter, Taylor Rae Strength;  one son, Brady Matthew Strength;  his Mother, Eloise Miller Strength;  and one sister and brother-in-law, Sonia Michelle and Patrick Thomas Keegan, all of Ozark.  Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the Strength Children College Fund, Mid South Bank, P.
