Obituary from Holman Funeral Home and Cremations – Ozark, AL


 Mr. William Derrell Beck, 52, of Slocomb, Alabama, died late Monday, August 1, 2016, at his home.


A memorial service for Mr. Beck will be held at 10:00 A. M. Friday, August 5, 2016, in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home and Cremations in Ozark with Reverend Paul Bronold officiating, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home in Ozark Thursday evening from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P. M.


Mr. Beck was born January 4, 1964 in Fort Rucker, Alabama to the late William Nathan Beck and Lillian Laverne Tharpe Beck. He graduated from G. W. Long High School in 1982 and worked with Bartlett Construction Company for the past fifteen years. Mr. Beck was a veteran of the United States Army and the Army National Guard serving for six years.


Survivors include four sons and one daughter-in-law, Caleb and Tristan Beck of Slocomb, Casey Beck of Dothan, Joshua Beck of Slocomb, Keith Beck of Pensacola; the mother of his children Michelle Beck of Dothan; one sister, Diane Hutto of the Bertha Community, two brothers and sisters-in-law, Lamar and Jackie Glover of Abbeville, Rene and Beth Glover of Rehobeth.  Several nieces and nephews also survive.
