OBITUARY FROM HOLMAN FUNERAL HOME OF OZARK

 ­­­­­­­­­­­Mrs. Anna Spurlock Willis, 87, of Newton, died Tuesday, March 5, 2013, in Dale Medical Center.  Funeral services will be 2:00 P. M. Saturday, March 9, 2013, from Newton Baptist Church with Reverend Benjamin Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in Newton City Cemetery, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing.  The family will receive friends at the Church Saturday from 12:30 P.M. until service time.  Mrs. Willis was born September 24, 1925 in the Mabson Community of Dale County to the late Tom and Ora Heath Spurlock. She was a member of Newton Baptist Church.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Jeffie David Willis; and her granddaughter, Chastity Dawn Willis.  Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Pam and Bibb Hughes, Echo, three sons and daughters-in-law, Edward and Martha Willis, Sammy and Frances Willis, and Jeffy and Michelle Willis, all of Newton, eight grandchildren, Dave Willis, Michael Willis, Jason Hughes, Amber Herman, Haley Hall, LaNeshisa Channey, Damon Willis, and Angelia Fulford, great grandchildren, Gage and Zane Willis, John David and Cassie Willis, Garrett Sanders, Galyne Hall, and Sara Beth and Cole Channey, Jacob, Jaxon and Justin Hughes, Camaryn and Cade Herman, and Avery Elizabeth Fulford; one brother and sister-in-law, Tommie and Margaret Spurlock of Ozark.  For complete information visit www.HolmanFuneralHome.com
