OBITUARY FROM HOLMAN FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATIONS OF OZARK   ~   334‑774‑5348

Choosree Hanyotee Roberts of Skipperville, Alabama went to be with her Heavenly Father, Wednesday, December 24, 2014.  She was 66 years old.

Funeral services will be 11:00 A. M. Monday, December 29, 2014, from Morgan Baptist Church with Reverend Kyle Robertson, Reverend Bill Weed and Reverend Kenneth Hale officiating. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Memory Gardens, Holman Funeral Home and Cremations of Ozark directing.  The family will receive friends Sunday at the funeral home in Ozark from 3:00 P. M. until 5:00 P. M.

She was born in Bangkok, Thailand and was preceded in death by her father, Utawee Hanyotee, three brothers and one sister.  She married her life-long companion on January 8, 1969, and giving up her homeland, came to live in a strange land, among strangers.  She did not stay a stranger for long because of her giving, loving attitude.

She accepted God as her savior in 1973 at Niceville Baptist Church, Niceville, Florida.  Traveling as a military wife, she became active in Springbank Baptist Church of Dalzell, South Carolina and many churches in between, until settling down in the Morgan Community and joining the Morgan Baptist Church.  She was a loving, giving Christian, always doing everything she could to help others.  Days before her hospitalization, she traveled to Atlanta, Georgia to help at the distribution center to process Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes.  She was always one of the first to lend a helping hand when needed.  She willing gave so much of herself and loved her church with an unfailing heart, always stepping up to do her part and more.  She practiced daily what Jesus taught.  She was a loving wife, mother, mother-in law, grandmother, daughter, sister, daughter-in-law, sister-in-law, aunt, and best friend to all.

She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Edward Roberts, Skipperville; son Wesley Roberts (Anne), Skipperville; daughter Elizabeth Thompson (Shaun), Skipperville; mother, Tieb Hanyotee, Bangkok, Thailand; brother, Artid Hanyotee (Punyaporn), Bangkok, Thailand; four grandchildren, Brandon Roberts, Madelyn Roberts, Cameren Thompson and Evan Thompson; mother-in law, Edna Roberts, three brothers-in law, six sisters-in-law, and many, many nieces and nephews.

Although no one wanted her to go, it was time to accept her reward.  Without missing a heartbeat, she went from this world to Home.  She will be overwhelmingly missed.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to The Gideons International, P. O. Box 291, Ozark, Alabama  36361.
