OBITUARY FROM HOLMAN FUNERAL HOME OF OZARK

 ­­­­­­­­­­­­­Mrs. Jewell Dillard Danner, 91, of Ozark, died Tuesday, March 5, 2013, in Dale Medical Center.  Funeral services will be 11:00 A. M. Friday, March 8, 2013, in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home in Ozark with Reverend Ray Layton officiating. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Memory Gardens, with Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 5:00 P. M. until 7:00 P. M.  Mrs. Danner was born August 8, 1921 in Dale County to the late Earlie Dillard and Viola Bowman Dillard.  She attended Ozark City Schools and was a member of Post Oak United Methodist Church. She worked with White Knight in Ozark for twenty-eight years and with Pride Craft in Enterprise for seven years.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dorsey A. Danner; two grandchildren, Cindy Hendrix and Aaron Danner; and a special friend, Nina Jo Searcy. Survivors include two daughters and one son-in-law, Beth Danner of Ozark, Dorothy and Alton Williams of Foley; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Joe and Regina Danner of Daleville, George Danner of Ozark;  one sister, Martha Dillard Ruble of Ozark; five grandchildren, Mike Williams (Tina), Stephanie Poole (Gary), David Danner (Sonya), Debbie Crook (Harry), Jason Tippett (Jerika).
