OBITUARY FROM HOLMAN FUNERAL HOME OF OZARK   ~   334‑774‑5348


Baker, Lillian Ivey (born June 10, 1928 - died June 14, 2014).


Funeral services will be 10:00 A. M. Saturday, June 21, 2014, from Bethel Assembly of God Church in Ariton with Reverend Jeff Downing and Reverend Robert French officiating.  Interment will follow in Elam Baptist Church Cemetery, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, June 20, 2014, from 4:00 P. M. until 6:00 P. M.


She is survived by a daughter, Rebecca Baker Rines and a son, Bruce Leslie Baker.  Six grandchildren survive her, Chris and Jeremy (Marie) Rines, Kevin (Stacey), Brandon (Becky), Dylan and Jonathan Baker; and seven great grandchildren, Christian, Stephanie, Aaron and Andrew Rines, Emma, T J and Jadon Baker. A special person to the family, Donna Jones Williams, also survives along with two sisters-in-law, Nell Garner Ivey and Mary Slawson Ivey. Several nieces and nephews also survive.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Dewey and Ada Doster Ivey; three brothers, Durell, Amerine and Ralphael along with her husband, Reverend W. L. Baker, a grandson, Derek Baker, and a son-in-law, David Rines.  Reverend W. L. and Lillian pastored Elamville Assembly of God in Elamville, AL, Georgetown Assembly of God in Wilmer, AL, First Assembly of God in Mobile, AL, First Assembly of God in Phenix City, AL, Atmore Assembly of God in Atmore, AL, and Cody Road Assembly of God in Columbus, GA before retiring.
