Mrs. Linda Gayle Hayes Burke, 68, of Ozark, died Thursday, June 23, 2016, in Flowers Hospital.

A memorial service for Mrs. Burke will be held at 2:00 P. M. Tuesday, June 28, 2016, from Ozark First Assembly of God Church with Pastor Greg Doss officiating, Holman Funeral Home and Cremations of Ozark directing.

 Mrs. Burke was born September 9, 1947 in Columbus, Georgia to the late Paul and Laura Gladys Johnson Hayes. She lived in Miami, Florida where she met and married her husband of fifty years.  She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, camping and being outdoors.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Tammy Lynn Burke; one sister, Patsy Hayes Brown; and one brother, Jimmy Wayne Hayes.

 Survivors include her husband of fifty years, James Burke of Ozark; two daughters and sons-in-law, Lisa Burke Cook (Ricky) of Ozark, Sherrie Burke Dismukes (Micah) of Dothan; one son Donald Burke of Ozark; seven grandchildren, Brandi Cook, Brittani Cook, Kelli Cook, Amy Cook, Rachel Clement, Jennifer Whittley, and Ronnie Clement; three great grandchildren, Graham Cook, Mason Clement, and Raelynn Clement.
