OBITUARY FROM HOLMAN FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATIONS OF OZARK, AL   ~   334‑774‑5348

Mrs. Louise Bayne Burch Collier, age 95, a resident of Winter Haven, Florida, formerly of Ozark, Alabama, passed away Saturday, July 4, 2015.

Funeral services will be 12:00 Noon Saturday, July 11, 2015, in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home and Cremations in Ozark, Alabama with her nephew, Reverend Robert Bayne, Jr., officiating.  Interment will follow in Mount Pisgah Baptist Church Cemetery, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home in Ozark Saturday from 10:00 A. M. until service time.

Mrs. Collier was born September 23, 1919 in Ozark, Alabama to the late Dewitt Talmadge Bayne and Edna Balkcom Bayne. Louise was manager of Katherine’s Dress Shop in Winter Haven and Farner’s Children’s Wear in Tampa, Florida.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Christine Bayne Griffin, Lucille Bayne Morris, Elizabeth Bayne Cooke; and one brother, Robert “Bob” Bayne; her first husband, Clyde Burch; her second husband, Herbert Collier; and her step-son, William Julius Burch.

She is survived by one daughter, Reba Burch Hadden of Winter Haven; two step-children, Clara Burch Summerville, Clermont, Florida, Lance Collier (Brenda) of Loxahatchee, Florida; two sisters, Ann Bayne (Ray) Chase of Websterville, Vermont, Marge Bayne (Ron) Schmitz of Huntsville, Alabama.  She is also survived by seven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in honor of Louise to Good Shepherd Hospice of  Auburndale,  105 Arneson Avenue, Auburndale, Florida 33823; or to Central Church of Christ, 142 Avenue C Southwest, Winter Haven, Florida 33880.
