OBITUARY FROM HOLMAN FUNERAL HOME OF OZARK

 ­­­­­­­­­­­­­Mrs. Sarah Nell McSwean Richter, age 87, of Ozark, passed away Sunday, May 12, 2013, at the home of her daughter following an extended illness.  Funeral services will be graveside 10:00 A. M. Tuesday, May 14, 2013, in Westview Memorial Cemetery with Reverend Harry Circle officiating. Interment will follow with Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. Mrs. Richter was born August 7, 1925 in Dale County to the late William Malcom McSwean and Bessie Addiebell Snellgrove McSwean.  She graduated from Ozark High School in 1943, and worked in the insurance department with White Knight Manufacturing in Ozark for many years.  Mrs. Richter was a member of Ozark Baptist Church. She enjoyed working puzzle books, fishing, and card games.  She was an avid Braves baseball and Alabama football fan.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Richter; one son, Wesley Grohe; one sister, Hattie Grace McSwean; and one brother, Robert Lewis McSwean.  Survivors include three daughters, Mary Grohe Mackert of Ozark, Becky Simmons Alloway of Ashford, Sherry Simmons Adams of Ozark;  one son,  Bobby Simmons of Ozark;  four grandchildren, Katie Johnston (Matt), Angel Shelly (Todd), Keith Alford (April), and Jake Paramore.  Several great grandchildren also survive.  For complete information visit www.HolmanFuneralHome.com
