OBITUARY FROM HOLMAN FUNERAL HOME OF OZARK

Mrs. Sheila Thompson Willis, 63, of Skipperville, died Wednesday, January 16, 2013, in Flowers Hospital


Funeral services will be 11:00 A. M. Saturday, January 19, 2013, from Concord Congregational Methodist Church with Reverend Scott Moffitt  officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 5:00 P. M. until 7:00 P. M.


Mrs. Willis was born June 22, 1949 in Dale County to the late John Perry Thompson and Dorothy Merle Johnson Thompson. She graduated from Carroll High School in 1967 and worked in the Dale County Commission Office and in the Dale County Sheriff Department as a bookkeeper.  She was a member of Concord Congregational Methodist Church where she was the pianist.  Sheila was an avid Auburn fan, Atlanta Braves fan, and enjoyed cooking.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister-in-law, Marilyn Garner Thompson.


Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Mike and Nicky Willis of Skipperville, Perry Britt and Virginia Willis of Poulsbo, Washington;


one sister and brother-in-law, Dorothy and Jim Reece of Ozark;


two brothers and one sister-in-law;  Wilton Thompson, Kenneth and Martha Dan Thompson all of Ozark;


four grandchildren, Kristin, Makenzie, Matthew and Andrea Willis;


and her beloved dog, Brownie.
