Obituary from Holman Funeral Home, Inc. - Ozark, Alabama

Mrs. Sybil Ruth Rogers Sport, age 87, passed away July 20, 2014.  She was a long time resident of Rome, Georgia (formerly of Ozark, Alabama) and a member of West Rome United Methodist Church.

Funeral services will be graveside 2:00 P. M. Wednesday, July 23, 2014, in Westview Memorial Cemetery with Reverend R. Michael Sigler officiating. Interment will follow with Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. 

Mrs. Sport was born December 2, 1926 in Ozark, Alabama. She was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, James H. Sport; her father, Albert Tully Rogers; and her mother, Ruth Brown Rogers.

She is survived by a daughter, Jane (Michael) Cox of Atlanta; a son, Roger (Kristi) Sport of Rome, GA; two granddaughters, Kimberly Cox (Steve) Strohmeier of Johns Creek, GA , Courtney Cox  (Mike) Reasons of Buford, GA; and great grandchildren, Taylor Jane and Jessica Ann Strohmeier and Ford and Annabelle Reasons.
