OBITUARY FROM HOLMAN FUNERAL HOME OF OZARK   ~   334‑774‑5348


SFC Mathis T. (Mike) Jordan, age 59, of Skipperville, died Friday, March 21, 2014, following a brief illness.  A memorial service for Mr. Jordan will be held at 4:00 P. M. on Tuesday, March 25, 2014, at Peniel Baptist Church with Reverend Tim McCraney officiating. For complete information visit www.HolmanFuneralHome.comSFC Jordan spent most of his childhood in Niceville, Florida and enlisted in the United States Army at the age of nineteen.  He was a proud soldier for twenty years.  He cherished his Army brothers and sisters and was honored to serve alongside them. Mike was loved by many and will be sorely missed. He was loved by a multitude of family and friends.  Mike was an avid hunter, a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother. Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Johnny H. and Ether Louise; his son, Leon; and his brother, Tony.  Survivors include his wife, Joan;  two sons and one daughter-in-law, Johnny and Jennifer, and Ryan Jordan; one step-daughter, Callie; three grandchildren, Brianna, Dakota and Savannah; three brothers and their wives, Ken and Susan, Don and Dorian, Rusty and Sharon.   We love you for eternity.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.
