Mr. Robert Melvin Kennedy, 82, of Dothan, died Monday, March 9, 2015, in Southeast Alabama Medical Center.  A memorial service for Mr. Kennedy will be held 2:00 P. M. Wednesday, March 11, 2015 in the Episcopal Church of the Nativity in Dothan with Father Peter Wong officiating.   Mr. Kennedy was born August 29, 1932 in Sulligent, Alabama to the late Lemual Grady Kennedy and Pearl Williams Kennedy.  Mr. Kennedy served in the Air National Guard as a fighter pilot from 1958 until 1965 also serving a tour in Europe while his unit was activated. He was President of Danzey Oil and Tire until his retirement in 2006 and was a member of the Episcopal Church of the Nativity in Dothan for 56 Years.  Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Bennie Danzey Kennedy of Dothan;  one daughter and son-in-law, Kathie and Tom Buntin of Dothan;  one granddaughter, Elizabeth Anne Buntin of Dothan.
