Onie LeCompte, age 89, of Coffee Springs, AL passed away, Monday, March 24, 2014 at Hartford Health Care.

Graveside services will be held at 10:30 A.M., Thursday, March 27, 2014 at Meadowlawn Cemetery with Rev. Steve Bruce officiating.  Burial will follow with Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 9:00 A.M. until 10:00 A.M.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Mt. Pleasant Senior Center, 388 County Road 650, Enterprise,  AL 36330.

Survivors include four daughters, Frances Nelson (Ronnie) Daleville, AL; Claire Hanson (Jeff) Fuquay-Varina, NC; L’Orianne Hallford (Morgan), Dothan, AL; Joye Anderson (Jimmy) Coffee Springs, AL; four sons, Donell LeCompte, Coffee Springs, AL; Shirley LeCompte (Judy) Eugene, OR; Adrian LeCompte, Springfield, OR; Julian LeCompte (Vickie) Enterprise, AL; seventeen grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren, one sister, Elizabeth Maund (Doug) Athens, AL.
