Orville Dewane Cercy, age 77, of Enterprise, AL, departed his earthly home early Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at his home.  His faith became more real than life itself.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, September 26, 2015 at Open Door Baptist Church with Rev. John McCrummen officiating.  Burial will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery with Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. on Friday, September 25^th.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Open Door Baptist Church, 1509 Rucker Blvd., Enterprise, AL 36330.

Orville served his country as a MSG in the U. S. Army.  He was a deacon at Open Door Baptist Church and was an intentional soul winner and was not ashamed to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

He is survived by his daughter, Carol Cercy, Enterprise, AL.
