Mrs. Patricia Cherry went home to be with her Lord, February 11^th, 2016.  She was 78.

Funeral services will be held at 9:00 A.M. on Saturday, February 13, 2016 at Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel with Rev Steve Trail officiating.  Burial will follow at Meadowlawn Cemetery with Searcy Funeral Home directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M., Friday, February 12, 2016.  Memorial contributions may be made to: First Free Will Baptist Church, 1461 Timbers Drive, Dothan, AL 36301.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Elean Crutchfield; husband, Eugene Johnson and grandson, Michael Salsman.

Survivors include her husband, Monroe Cherry; daughters, Teressa Dyess (Mark); Alicia Salsman; brother, Hershel Crutchfield (Joyce); grandchildren, Robert Holt; Jerad Dyess; great-grandchildren, Dylan and Payton Holt; step-children, Sue Burkett (Denny); Donna Mathis (Scott); Edwin Cherry; step-grandchildren, Jessica, Jennifer and Dalton.
