PATRICIA  WEAVER  BROWN

ABBEVILLE. . .Patricia Weaver (Pat) Brown, a resident of Abbeville, died Monday morning, August 4, 2014, in the Henry County Health & Rehabilitation Facility. She was 74.

            Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, August 7, 2014, in the Holman-Abbeville Mortuary Chapel with her sons, Reverend Greg Brown and Reverend Chris Brown officiating. Burial will follow in the Abbeville Memorial Cemetery-East.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. Wednesday at the mortuary in Abbeville.

            Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to the Abbeville Fire and Rescue, P.O. Box 427, Abbeville, AL 36310.

            Ms. Brown was born and reared in Blakely, Georgia, daughter of the late O. B. Weaver and Eva Mae Cashwell Weaver. She lived in Abbeville most of her adult lifetime. Ms. Brown was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church and was retired as Assistant Manager of the IGA in Abbeville. She was preceded in death by five sisters, three brothers, and a special friend, Brenda Culp.

            Surviving relatives include a daughter, Lisa Bauman (Freddie), Edwin, AL; four sons, Drex Brown, Abbeville; Rev. Greg Brown (Rev. Anita), Ariton, AL; Kyle Brown (Valerie), Abbeville; and Rev. Chris Brown (Lisa), Echo Community; a brother, Jimmy Weaver, Blakely, GA; ten grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren.

            Serving as active pallbearers will be Wesley Brown, Josh Brown, Zack Brown, Bruce Brown, Shane Money, and Greg Rickaby.
