Patrick James Ferry, age 74, of Enterprise, AL, passed away, Sunday, June 23, 2013 in Noland Hospital.

           Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, June 28, 2013 at Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel.  Burial will follow in Fort Mitchell National Cemetery on Monday, July 1, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. eastern time. The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. until service time on Friday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to:  Disabled Veterans, Chapter 9, PO Box 310972, Enterprise, AL 36331.

           He is a retired Command Sergeant Major from the United States Army with over 30 years of service.  He served his country in Korea, during the Vietnam War, and several tours in Germany.

           Survivors include his wife of 54 years,  Elisabeth (Anita) Ferry; two daughters, Kathleen Burkhead, Killen, TX; Diana Shively, Peru, IN; two sons, James Ferry, Peru, IN ; Patrick and Sherry Ferry, Jr.,  Marshallville, GA; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; aunt, Kathrine Stewart, Pittsburg, PA; several cousins.
