Mrs. Patsy Louise Howell Kennedy, age 58, a resident of Cottonwood died early Wednesday April 24, 2013 at the Southeast Alabama Medical Center following an extended illness.

 

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday April 27, 2013 at the Cottonwood City Cemetery with Reverend Stanley Key officiating and Kendall Glover of Glover Funeral Home directing.

 

The family will be receiving friends from 12 noon until 1 p.m. Saturday April 27, 2013 at Glover Funeral Home.  Flowers will be accepted.

 

Mrs. Kennedy was born on November 15, 1954 in Enterprise the daughter of Carlton Harold Howell and Wilma Louise Strength Howell.  She and her husband moved to Cottonwood from Pensacola, Florida in May 2005.  Mrs. Kennedy was a homemaker most of her lifetime.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, John Henry Howell and Bobby Joe Howell.

 

She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Franklin Kennedy, Cottonwood; daughter, Angela Nicole Collins (Joe), Pensacola, FL.; sister, Sue Ann Hall (Dennis), Dothan; five grandchildren, Jamie, Crystal, Andrew, Joseph and Joshua; five great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

 

Asked to serve as pallbearers are: John Howell, Tommy Howell, Andrew Kennedy, Beau Deathridge, Tim Ward and Chris Wratchford.
