Peggy Jean Morgan, a resident of Dothan ascended into Heaven to be with her Savior on Tuesday, July 21, 2015. She was 77 years old.

Services will be at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 25, 2015 at Pathway Baptist Church with Rev. Tommy White officiating. The family will receive friends from 2-3:00 p.m. prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Pathway Baptist Church, 3551 Flowers Chapel Rd., Dothan, AL, 36305, or to Hutto Towers, 4426 West Main Street, Dothan, AL, 36305.

Mrs. Morgan was born March 7, 1938 in Coats, NC and spent the early part of her life there, graduating from the local high school. She lived most of her life in the State of Alabama including Birmingham and finally residing in Dothan for many years. Years ago she was employed as a model at Carlisle's Fashion in Charlotte, NC, but she was primarily a homemaker taking care of her large family. Mrs. Morgan was a longtime member of Pathway Baptist Church and was an avid reader and book collector.

Survivors include her children, Ricky (Jane) Johnson of Lubbock, TX, Diane (Monte) Lutz of Sioux Falls, SD, Pam (Tom) Rennhack of Dothan, AL, and Ben (Jeannie) Johnson of Lillington, NC; grandchildren, Cassie Johnson, Zapora Johnson, Zack Johnson, Hope Johnson, Eric (Tori) Lutz, Laura (Kyle) Kneip, Drew Rennhack, Catherine Rennhack, Angel Sharon, Jessica Sharon, and Sosten Morgan; great-grandchildren, Scout Kneip, Willow Kneip, Michael Stevens, Haileigh Stevens, Lawson Stevens, Kaitlyn Sharon, Cadden Sharon, and Jacxon Morgan; a sister Thurleen Stancel of Angier, NC.
