Peggy Jeanette Monaghan, age 79, of Enterprise, AL passed away Monday, January 2, 2017 at her home.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Friday, January 6, 2017 at Goodman Baptist Church with Dr. John Granger and Rev. Bruce Williams officiating.  Burial will follow in Goodman Baptist Church Cemetery with Searcy Funeral Home directing.  The family will receive friends at Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory on Thursday, January 5, 2017 from 4:00 until 6:00 P.M.  In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to Alacare Home Health and Hospice, 3379 W. Main Street, Dothan, AL 36305.

Mrs. Monaghan was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Monaghan, her parents, James and Lala Jones and a brother, Jimmy Ned Jones.

Survivors include daughters, Patricia Lynn Watkins, (Davie); Tanya Michelle Jeffries (Will); son, Gregory Dale Monaghan (Kelly); sisters, Bobbie Allen (Luther); Pearline Stephenson; Janice Reynolds; Faye Thames (Jerry); Kaye Clark (Jimmy) all of Enterprise; grandchildren, Tanner Monaghan; Taylor Jeffries; Charlie Jeffries; Garrett and Jamee Hitt; Grant Monaghan; Colin Watkins; Chris and Haley Watkins; great-grandchildren, Parker and Kennedy.
