Mrs. Peggy Lynn Quattlebaum Straughn of Taylor passed away Friday May 8, 2015, she was 43.

 

Funeral services will be held at 2PM Tuesday May 12, at Piney Grove Assembly of God, burial will follow at Piney Grove Cemetery . Visitation will be Monday May 11, from 6-8PM at Ward Wilson Funeral Home.

 

Mrs. Peggy was an Ashford High graduate, she worked in retail management, loved to fish, swim, have family gatherings and loved watching Shelby cheer and grow up to become the young lady she is today.

 

She is preceded in death by her Mother Jeanette Braswell Quattlebaum, Father James Stearling Quattlebaum, grandparents Lymon and Mary Lucy Braswell and Shelley and Myrtice Quattlebaum.

 

Survivors include her husband Mathew Straughn, daughter Shelby Lynn Kemp of Taylor, Step-son William Straughn of Pueblo West Colorado, sister Rebecca (David) Blackmon of Ozark, niece Casey Lee Edwards, nephew Leo Stearling Edwards, great nephew Jay Edwards and great nieces Jessica Lee and Summer LeeAnn Edwards.

 

The family will be accepting flowers.
