R V Phillips, 77, of Dothan passed away Friday, March 21, 2014 at Extendicare Health and Rehab.

Funeral services will be 2 pm Sunday, March 23, 2014 at Sunset Funeral Home with Rev. Dwayne Watson officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park.

Mr. Phillips was born November 24, 1936 in Dothan and lived most of his life here. He owned and operated Phillips Heating and Cooling for over 40 years. He was an avid fisherman and loved tinkering with old cars. He was preceded in death by his son Ricky Phillips, Sr.

Survivors include his son Randy Von Phillips (Alicia); 6 grandchildren, Wendie Thomley, Rickey Phillips, Brandon Phillips, Brianna Phillips, Rylan Phillips, and Ayden Phillips; a sister Mittie Lee Pitts; several nieces and nephews also survive.
