            Ralph Marler of New Brockton, AL (Woodland Grove Community) passed away Monday, June 24, 2013 at home   He was 68.

            Funeral services will be at 11:00 am Thursday, June 27, 2013 in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home and Crematory in Enterprise with Chaplain Chris Adams officiating.  Burial will follow in the Richburg Cemetery in New Brockton.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 6 until 8 pm.

            Mr. Marler was born February 4, 1945 in Coffee County, AL to the late Johnie Marler and Annie Ruth Harper Marler. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Ellen Fortenberry.

            Survivors include his fiancée, Betty Stringfellow, New Brockton; daughter, Sherry Marler; 2 sons: Larry Marler (Wanda), Elba, AL and Johnny Marler (Jessica), Enterprise, AL; 4 sisters: Ada Knight, Elba, Janice Fernandez, Webb, AL, Patsy McInnis, Malvern, AL, Jane Marler, New Brockton; 3 brothers: Clinton Marler (Barbara), Enterprise, Wendell Marler (JoAnn), New Brockton, James Marler (Nell), Elba; 5 grandchildren: Christopher, Stephen, Matthew, Camara and Chevy; 1 great-grandchild, Madison; and several nieces and nephews.
