RANDALL  GILBERT  DANIELS

 

ABBEVILLE. . .Randall Gilbert (Randy) Daniels, a resident of Abbeville, died early Saturday afternoon, August 9, 2014, at his home. He was 61.

            Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Monday, August 11, 2014, in the Holman-Abbeville Mortuary Chapel with Reverend Danny Quincey officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, near Abbeville. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00 P.M. Monday at the mortuary.
            Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to Covenant Hospice, 104 Rock Bridge Road, Dothan, AL 36303.

            Randy Daniels was a native of Brundidge and was reared in both Brundidge and Clio. He attended the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. Randy retired in 2005, due to disability, from WestPoint Stevens as a maintenance mechanic.  He was an avid fisherman. Randy was preceded in death by his father, Olive Daniels, and his mother, Dorothy Doster Senn.

            Surviving relatives include his wife, Renee’ Skinner Daniels, Abbeville; three sons, Jason Daniels, Jammie Daniels, and Joshua Daniels, all of Banks, AL; two daughters, Stephanie McKnight (Kevin), Headland; and Lori Cooper (Dan), Abbeville; a sister, Linda Burns (Mike); a brother,  David Daniels (Jean), all of Arab, AL; four grandchildren, Jamison Wilson, Lauren McKnight, Madie Cooper, and Chloe Cooper; a sister-in-law, Gale Ory (Steve), Baton Rouge, LA; a brother-in-law, Gary Skinner (Lisa), Dothan; step-father of forty years, Norris Senn, Clio; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, and a special friend, Tommy McCoy.

            Serving as active pallbearers will be Tommy McCoy, Dino Blalock, J.R. Richardson, Joel Glover, Larry Daniels, and Kevin Shaw.
