Reall J. Beam, Jr., age 67, of Clayhatchee, AL, passed away, Tuesday, August 19, 2014 at his home.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, August 23, 2014 at Old Providence Chapel with Rev. Chad Hixson officiating.  The family will receive friends at the Beam home on Friday, August 22, 2014 from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to: Old Providence Foundation, 100 Mills Austin Road, Daleville, AL 36322 or to Alabama Baptist Children’s Home, 1301 Ross Clark Circle, Dothan, AL 36301.

Mr. Beam was preceded in death by his parents, Rex and Virginia Beam and a step-son, Mark Abercrombie.

 Survivors include his wife, Edna Thompson Beam, Clayhatchee, AL; daughter, Laura Dollar (John) Pearland, TX; son, Eric Beam (Melissa) Schertz, TX; step-daughter, Melissa Pate (Brian) Spring, TX; two step-sons, John Abercrombie, Birmingham, AL; Joe Abercrombie (Jaima) Spring, TX; step-daughter-in-law, Kim Abercrombie, Belton, TX;  seventeen grandchildren and step-grandchildren; three sisters, Denise Walker (Jim) Rancho Cucamonga, CA; Wanda Connolly, Mesa, AZ; Sue McCully, Mason, TX; two brothers, Jim Beam (Pat) Sulpher, TX; Kevin Beam (Regina) Jarrell, TX.
