ABBEVILLE. . .Reba Parker White, a resident of Abbeville, died Thursday, February 12, 2015, in the Henry County Health & Rehabilitation Facility. She was 93.

            Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, February 14, 2015, in the White Oak United Methodist Church, Eufaula, with Reverend Tim Stevenson officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Holman-Abbeville Mortuary is charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 P.M. Saturday in the church sanctuary.

            Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to the White Oak United Methodist Church, 4180 Highway 431, South, Eufaula, AL 36027.

            Mrs. White was born and reared in Henry County, daughter of the late Robert N. Parker and Elizabeth Blanton Parker. She lived in the White Oak Community of Henry County most of her adult lifetime. Mrs. White was a member of the Adoniram Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Thomas (Bill) White, Sr., a grandson, Robert (Bob) Haralson, a sister, Bernice Money, and three brothers, Randall Parker, William Parker, and Robert Parker.

            Surviving relatives include a daughter, Reverend Janice White, a son, William Thomas (Billy) White (Ginger), all of Abbeville; two sisters, Johnnie Ruthven, Titusville, FL; and Melba Jean Helf, Waverly, GA; a brother, Thomas Parker, Ozark; seven grandchildren, Kent Haralson (Jake), Hunter White, Jimmy Harrelson, Gale Messer, Kay Sproule (Bob), Kim Huff, and Barbara Baker (Mike); five great-grandchildren, Kendrah Haralson, J. C. Harrelson, III, Clint Messer, Lacey Huff, Sophia Harrelson and Sky Murray.
