Rev. O. L. Senn


Rev. O. L. Senn of Tyler, Texas passed away on Saturday, November 15, 2014.  He was 76. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 22, 2014, at Mt. Zion Assembly of God Church in Midland City, Alabama with Dr. Max T. McKinney officiating.  Burial will follow at Piney Grove Cemetery in Newton, Alabama with Byrd Funeral Home directing.  Visitation will be held Friday, November 21, 2014, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.


O. L. was born on December 8, 1937 in Newton, Alabama to the late Otis Senn and Minnie Anderson Senn.  He dedicated over forty years of his life to church ministry in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, and Arizona.


He is predeceased by a son, Ricky Senn, one brother, Huey Senn, and three sisters, Mattie Senn Phillips, Elsie Senn Pollock, and Susie Senn Hollingsworth.


Left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 56 years, Billie Jenkins Senn of Tyler, Texas; sons, Markie Senn and his wife Rindy, of Whitehouse, Texas and Phillip Senn and his wife Ruthie, of Longview, Texas; four grandchildren, Ashley Mace, Meaghan Lester, and Rickie Senn of Neosho, Missouri and Whitney Senn of Austin, Texas; six great-grandchildren; three brothers, Dewey Senn, Otis Senn, and Clarence Senn, and a multitude of family and friends.


The entire Senn family wishes to thank the nurses and staff at Providence Park Nursing Home and Hospice of East Texas for their care and support.


Flowers will be accepted by the family.
