Reverend James H. Lolley, age 79 of Enterprise, AL passed away, Wednesday, January 22, 2014 at his home.


Funeral services will be held at11:00 A.M., Saturday, January 25, 2014 at New Canaan Ministries Church with Reverends Hollis Bradley, Donald Lolley and Bob Hvarven officiating.  Burial will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery with Searcy Funeral Home directing.  The family will receive friends from 4:30 P.M. until 7:00 P.M., Friday, January 24th at the funeral home.  Rev. Lolley will lie in state at the church one hour prior to service time.


James was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Lolley, his father, D. T. Lolley and a brother, Myrtis Lolley.


James and his wife Ruth established Lolley Floor Covering in Enterprise in  1958 and he was still actively involved in managing the business.   He has been serving as an ordained pastor since 1972, having served  as pastor of Sardis Methodist Church of Hartford, AL, Midway Methodist Church, Geneva, AL and establishing New Canaan Ministries Church, Hartford, AL,.


Survivors include his two daughters and son-in-law, Leda and Harold Croley, Enterprise, AL; Kim Lolley, Enterprise, AL; granddaughter, Jamie Croley; his mother, Ida Lee Lolley Grimes, Enterprise, AL; brother and sister-in-law, Rev. Donald and June Lolley, Enterprise, AL; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Fay and Ray Avrett; several nieces and nephews; and his cherished  Church Family, New Canaan Ministries.
