REYNOLDS  CLAYTON  KILCREASE 

HEADLAND. . .Reynolds Clayton (Jim) Kilcrease, a resident of Headland, died early Sunday morning, March 3, 2013, in a Dothan hospital. He was 80.

            Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, March 5, 2013, in the Holman-Headland Mortuary Chapel with Reverend Ralph Baker officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Zion Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery in northern Henry County, near Lawrenceville. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. Monday at the mortuary in Headland.

            Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to the Mt. Zion Free Will Baptist Cemetery Fund, c/o Nina Vickers, 607 Holly Drive, Eufaula, AL 36027.

            Mr. Kilcrease was born and reared in the Pine Level community, near Brantley, Alabama, son of the late Leamon Kilcrease and Annie Lou Morrow Kilcrease. At an early age, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served his country during the Korean War.  Mr. Kilcrease was a member of the Mt. Zion Free Will Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon. He was retired as the owner and operator of Eufaula Wood Products. In earlier years, Mr. Kilcrease owned and operated Graceville Welding Service. He lived near Graceville and also Baker Hill before moving to Headland in 1999. Mr. Kilcrease was preceded in death by a brother, Dewey Kilcrease.

            Surviving relatives include his wife, Yvonne Bradley Kilcrease, Headland; a son, Steven Kilcrease, Newville; two sisters, Dorothy Sue Cook (Augusta), Brantley, AL; and Thalitha Potter (Roger), Foley, AL; three brothers, Ray Kilcrease (Mavis), Phenix City; Bobby Kilcrease (Dorthan), Phenix City; and Clyas Kilcrease (Angelia), Phenix City; several nieces and nephews.
