Rhafel M. Pride, Jr. (RJ), infant six-week-old son of Rhafel Pride, Sr. and Courtney Rachelle Cook passed away Monday January 30, 2017. He was born December 11, 2016.

Funeral services will be held 11 am Saturday February 4, 2017 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park.

RJ is preceded in death by a brother, Meleyun Kasime Pride; grandmother, Melanie Cook; great-aunt, Angelica K. Pride.

RJ is survived by his parents; a sister Au’Yuna T. Pride; grandparents, Dodd L. Jones, Nora L. Jones, Paula Guilford, Randy Cook, Jr.; great-grandparents, Louise Myhand, Randy Cook Sr. and Tammy Cook, Willie Ray Pride, Karen Goodrow; great-great grandparents, Milton and Doris Steven; uncle and aunts, Joe Guilford Jr., Kenya Jackson, Damien Jackson, Takila Jackson, Derek Cook, Christopher Cook, Gabriel Cook, Jean-Luc and Hayley Cook; Brienna Cook, Greg Goodrow, David G. and Angela Walker Pride, and Veronica R. McKissic; and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
