Richard Dow Rice, age 63, a resident of Taylor passed away on Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at his residence.

 

Born September 6, 1950 in Dothan, Al. to the late James Mitchell Rice and Rachael Moates Rice. Mr. Rice was a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who loved to fish, hunt and was an avid Alabama fan.

 

In addition to his parents, Mr. Rice was preceded in death by his two brothers, Thomas Ray Rice, and Alan Rice.

 

Survivors include his son, Obie Rice of Taylor; daughter, Leslie Rice Dulaney ( Mark) of Dothan.; sister, Carolyn Rice of Dothan; brother, Jimmy Rice of Atlanta, GA.; grandchildren, Kayla Jade Rice, Robert Hunter Walden, and Hollie Marie Walden; great-grandchildren, Ivyana and Kade Critton; and several nieces and nephews.
