Mr. Richard Loyd Kelly, 80 of Enterprise, AL died on Saturday, July 18, 2015 at his residence.


Funeral services will be 11 am, Monday, July 20, 2015 at First Baptist Church of Enterprise with Rev. Sonny Moore officiating.  Burial will follow at the Enterprise City Cemetery with Searcy Funeral Home directing.  The family will receive friends at the church from 9:30 until service time in the sanctuary.  The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to the Enterprise City Cemetery, P.O. Box 310075, Enterprise, AL 36331.


Mr. Kelly served in the Army after attending Auburn University and later graduated from Troy State University.  He worked with Liberty National Life Insurance for 32 years and retired in 1992.  During retirement he enjoyed fellowship on the golf course, gardening, fishing and sharing life with his children and grandchildren.  He was a lifelong member of First Baptist Church, where he served as Sunday School Secretary.


Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Bobbie Miller Kelly, Enterprise, AL; daughter, Regena Kelly Lacey (Robert), Enterprise, AL; 2 sons, Richard Loyd Kelly, Jr. (Precillae), Charlotte, NC, Jeffrey Lee Kelly (Cindy), Decatur, AL; 3 granddaughters, Jessica Lacey Goodson (Sam), Enterprise, AL, Stephanie Leigh Kelly, Raleigh, NC, Emma Kate Kelly, Charlotte, NC; 2 grandsons, Jacob Robert Lacey, Enterprise, AL, Richard Tyson Kelly, Charlotte, NC.
