Richard Owen Ball, age 85 of Daleville, AL, passed away, Wednesday, February 10, 2016 in Flowers Hospital.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, February 13, 2016 at Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory Daleville Chapel with Rev. Mike Foreman officiating.  The family will receive friends at the Daleville Chapel beginning at 10:00 A.M. and continuing until service time.

Mr. Ball was preceded in death by his parents, Tom and Lura Ball, two sisters, Jean Harrison and Jackie Malpass.

Survivors include his wife, Maxine G. Ball, Daleville, AL; children Lisa Ball Mitchell, East Bend, NC; Vanessa Ball Beck, Madison, NC; Kim Battle, GA; Owen Battle, GA; brother, Rodney Ball (Jean) McDonough, GA; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; six nieces.
