Mrs. Robbye S. Walton of Enterprise passed away on Friday, January 15, 2016 in Albuquerque, New Mexico.  She was 93.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 22, 2016 at First Baptist Church in Enterprise with Dr. Lawrence Phipps and Rev. James Nance officiating.  Burial will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory of Enterprise directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 6 – 8 p.m.

Mrs. Walton was born December 17, 1922 in Big Rock, TN to the late Joe and Ruby Norfleet Smith.  Following her marriage to Eugene, she was a devoted military spouse for many years.  She was a firecracker with an ability to plan and get things done.  She was very active in the First Baptist Church, and her coconut pies were a blessing to many.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Eugene Walton, son, Phillip Eugene Walton, and infant daughter, Jennifer Lou Walton.

Survivors include her daughter, Carolyn Olk (Marvin) of Sandia Park, NM; daughter-in-law, Lois Walton of Ozark; brother, Ted Smith (Claudine) of Hickory, NC; three grandchildren: Megan Hoover, Christopher Olk, and Andrew Olk; and great-grandson, Phillip Walton.
