Robert "Bob" Dettmar, Jr. (73 yrs. old) of Hartford passed away on October 3, 2015, in Montgomery, AL, from an extended illness. He was a former resident of Geneva, and employed by Clinton Mills from 1979 until its closing. He is survived by his wife, Lodema Dettmar; mother of his children, Fran Dettmar; son, Robert Dettmar III; daughter, Melanie Heldoorn; six grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.

A memorial service in his honor will be held at the First United Methodist Church of Geneva on November 10, at 2:00 p.m., with Minister Harry O. Adkison officiating and Sorrells Funeral Home of Geneva directing.
