Robert Jonathan Crates, age 33, of Enterprise, AL, passed away, Monday, October 5, 2015.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Friday, October 9, 2015 at First Baptist Church, New Brockton, AL with Rev. Mike Medley, Rev. Greg Adkins and Rev. Slade Stinson officiating.  Burial will follow in New Brockton City Cemetery with Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory directing.  The family will receive friends from 4:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M., Thursday, October 8, 2015 at Searcy Funeral Home.

Survivors include his wife, Chalena Crates; son Joshua Crates; step-daughter, Jordan Polk; step-son, Brae’don McClendon, all of Enterprise, AL; mother Debbie Crates, New Brockton, AL; father, Clark Crates, Sr., Enterprise, AL; two sisters, Madonna Thomas (Ricky) Enterprise, AL; Sadie Pettus (Terry) Wing, AL; two brothers, Michael Adkison (Misty) Enterprise, AL; Clark Crates, Jr. Miramar Beach, FL; maternal grandmother, Dorothy Adkison, New Brockton, AL; nephews, Mason Adkison; Kristopher Adkison; also surviving are many cousins.
