Mr. Robert L. “Bingo” Crosby, age 80, of Columbia passed away Monday, January 5, 2015.

 

Born January 10, 1934 in Montgomery, Alabama to the late John L. and Kathleen Hatfield Crosby, Mr. Crosby was a retired electrician.

 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Sanders Crosby and his son, Robert L. Crosby, Jr.

 

Survivors include his daughter, Helen Dawn Crosby; his son, Ronnie Smith; his grandchildren, Priscilla “Prissy” (Anthony) Stewart, Bobby “BJ” (Leah) Stewart, Cassey Crosby, Robert “Trae” Crosby, III, Helena Smith Davis; his great-grandchildren, Patiance, Julius, Baylee, Hailee, Jaydon, Kamoryn, and Henry; his brother, Kenneth (Betty) Crosby; his baby, Dolly; and other relatives and friends.

 

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at Gardens of Memory Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 1:45 PM at Ward Wilson Funeral Home.
