Robert Lee Farthing, age 65, of Dothan passed away Tuesday, April 12, 2016.

 

Born April 9, 1951 to Fred Farthing and Lorene Berry Parrish, Robert was an avid Auburn and NASCAR fan with Earnhardt Jr. being his favorite.  He was a loving father, and grandfather who enjoyed spending his time listening to all types of music.

 

Survivors include his sons, Robert Farthing (Jessica) of Dothan, AL, Jimmy Farthing (Christy) of Dothan, AL; daughter, Jennifer Farthing of Auburndale, FL; sisters, Pat Farthing of Defuniak Springs, FL, Debbie Kay Adams (Tim) Mobile, AL; brothers, Jimmy Farthing (Noralyn) of Las Vegas, NV, and Bo Wright of Dothan, AL; grandchildren, Corey & Courtney Farthing, Dre Yarn, and Angel Farthing.

 

Graveside services will be held at 2 PM, Friday, April 15, 2016 at Gardens of Memory Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.

 

The family will be accepting flowers.
