Roger Kent “Rod” Maddox of New Brockton passed away on Monday, October 19, 2015 in Enterprise.  He was 68. 

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 22, 2015 at First Baptist Church of New Brockton with Reverend Nathan Sims officiating.  Burial will follow in the New Brockton City Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory of Enterprise directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.

Rod was born March 10, 1947.  He worked at Dorsey Trailer for over 30 years and was a huge fan of Alabama Football.  He was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of New Brockton.

He was preceded in death by his parents, F.G. and Alma Whittington Maddox, as well as two brothers, Donald and Doug Maddox.

Survivors include his loving wife of 50 years, Judy Maddox of New Brockton; daughter, Pamela M. Harrison (Tobi) of Enterprise; brother, Morris Maddox (Dinah) of Headland; sister, Peggy Roberts (Bobby) of New Brockton; grandchildren, Logan Blake Harrison and Maggie-Beth Harrison; numerous extended family members.
