Ronald Glenn Hutton, 68, a resident of Dothan passed away Saturday, October 17, 2015 at his residence.


Funeral services will be held 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Chuck Spivey officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 3-4:00 p.m. Wednesday.


Mr. Hutton was born July 17, 1947 in Bedford, Indiana and lived there the early part of his life. He joined the U.S. Army at the age of 17 and served 3 tours in Vietnam. He was later employed with AMX Trucking for 10 years and also with Carroll Fulmer Trucking prior to being medically retired. He was the VFW Commander in 2011-2012. He was preceded in death by his parents John and Maxine Mather.


Survivors include his wife, Kay Hutton; his son, Brian Hutton; his daughter, Rhonda Borders (David); his stepson, William (Karen) Smith; his granddaughter, Linnea Borders; his step-grandchildren, Ashley McCrackin, Austin Bone, Brandon Bone, and Hunter Bone; two great-grandchildren, Alexandria McCrackin; two brothers, Larry (Priscilla) Hutton and David Mather; his sister, Gail Fields; several nieces and nephews.
