Ronald Scott Morris, 43, of Dothan, passed away Thursday, January 10, 2013 at Gulf Breeze Hospital.


Funeral services will be held 3 pm Sunday, January 13, 2013 at Sunset Funeral Home with Rev. Jason Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends from 1-3 pm Sunday prior to the service at the funeral home.


Scott was born June 18, 1969 in Dothan, AL and lived there most of his life. He was a 1988 graduate of Ashford High School and a member of the U.S. Army Reserves. He was employed in the construction industry in remodeling and siding. Scott was an avid fisherman and coached little league baseball and was a supporter of Post 12. He was a fun loving father that always looked to the bright side of life. His true loves were his children and the Alabama Crimson Tide. He was a member of Cloverdale Baptist Church.


Survivors include his son Caleb Neal Morris; his daughter Morgan Elizabeth Morris; his mother Janet (Don) Booth; his sisters, Shay Morris and Tami Morris; his father Ronald Doyle Morris; his grandmother Lois Free; the mother of his children, Sue Ann German; close friends, Shawn Law, Greg Brown, and Brian Marsh.
