Mr. Roy Hodge of Enterprise passed away Friday, July 25, 2014 at his residence. He was 81.

Funeral services will be 11:00am Monday, July 28, 2014 at the Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory Chapel in Enterprise with Rev. Bobby Rushing officiating. Burial will follow in the Zoar Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday beginning at 10:00am and continuing until service time.

Mr. Hodge was born April 16, 1933 in Coffee County, Alabama to the late Oscar and Elizie Matthews Hodge. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Edlow, Clarence and Gene Hodge.

Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Mrs. Betty Defoe Hodge, Enterprise, AL, 2 sons: Donny Hodge (Janeen), New Brockton, AL, Michael Hodge (Sarah), Kinston, AL, sister: Florene Rushing,  grandchildren: Samantha Pennington, Amber Barnes, T.C. Barnes, Savannah Johnson, Tristan Hodge, great grandchildren: Troy Tucker, Waylon Johnson, Alivia Pennington, several nieces and nephews
